Although considered a small tree, the Japanese Tree Lilac (Syringa reticulata) is noticeably larger than shrub lilacs. The fragrant creamy white flowers bloom a little later in the spring. This tree has an oval to vase-like form and beautiful cherry-like bark.

- This tree comes in a two-gallon container size only, which is a little wider in circumference than an ice cream pail, and is approximately three to four feet in height. it can be transported in most cars. The soil may be wet and loose, so we recommend covering your car floor or trunk with a tarp or blanket.
- There is a limit of six trees per address.
- Trees must be ordered and paid for in advance of the pickup date of Saturday, June 8, 2024, between 10 am to 2 pm at Bronx Park Community Centre, 720 Henderson Highway. Sorry, but once trees are ordered on your behalf from the nursery, we cannot provide a refund.
- When checking out, we will ask you to provide us with an address or approximate location. This information will be used to register your trees as part of the One Million Tree Challenge.
Call Before You Dig:Â Do not attempt to plant your tree until you know what is in the ground underneath. Submit the location online at http://clickbeforeyoudigmb.com or call 1-800-940-3447 and allow at least three working days for a response. Trees should not be planted under power lines.
